My name is Sarah Bradshaw Young, and I have been an Army Wife for almost nine years. The items within Sarah's Closet Boutique were born when I could not find items to give the wives in my husband's section. I began to create gifts that were especially for Army Wives, uniquely personal, just as we are.
The name, Sarah's Closet, was one that I have had in mind since I was a young girl. With a family in the ministry, we were challenged to do the best we could with what we had. My mom tells me that she would be amazed with the outfits I could make out of the pieces in my closet. I told her that when I grew up, I would have a boutique and call it "Sarah's Closet". While you may not find clothes in my closet, you will find unique accessories that are as unique as you are! :)
The "Sarah's Closet Boutique" logo is as unique as the accessories we keep! I chose the Fleur De Lis to pay homage to the state of Louisiana where this journey begins, and the colors, blue, pink and green are especially significant to me. Before my children could read their names, they knew their colors. Each child was assigned a color, so that he or she would know what belonged to him or her. John Thomas is Blue, Georgia is Pink and Stephen is Green.
